Principal's Message
It is an honor to introduce myself as the principal at Ricardo Lizarraga Elementary. I was born and raised in the Pico Union community of downtown Los Angeles, a bilingual daughter of immigrant parents, and a proud LAUSD graduate.
As a school leader I am pursuing equity and justice for the same community that propelled me in my educational journey. My vision for school transformation begins with leading with heart along with nurturing relationships with staff, students, and their families.
On behalf of our staff, it is my pleasure to welcome all our families to Ricardo Lizarraga Elementary. We are looking forward to an exciting 2022-23 school year where our goal is to provide the best environment for your child to learn and thrive. At Lizarraga we encourage your son or daughter to be a creative and critical thinker as we work in partnership with teachers, staff, student and parents to ensure your child reaches their maximum potential. Our motto for this school year will be KEEP GROWING, KEEP GOING as we celebrate growth and learning from every lion scholar.
